Benzema Returns to 2014 Adidas Adizero Boots to Score 200th Real Madrid Goal

Following Real Madrid's horrendous Clásico loss to Barcelona, the club has picked up three wins on the trot, with Karim Benzema returning to proper goalscoring form in what feels like eternity. Against Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League, he scored a brace including his 200th goal overall for the club.

Interestingly, Benzema's pick up in form coincides with him dropping his usual Adidas X 18 boots in favor of the 2014 Adidas Adizero F50 Samba pack in the 'Solar Slime' colorway. It's a boot that Benzema previously donned for a long time, including at the 2014 World Cup, although it was already released back in February that year.

Given Benzema's recent success with the classic boots, we hope that he'll keep wearing them - but Adidas will have other plans.
