FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi returned to training after the Christmas break wearing what is almost certain the next-generation of the Adidas Nemeziz football boot.
The next-generation Adidas Nemeziz 19 soccer cleat is set to be released in late May / early June 2019 as laceless (19+) and laces (19.1) version. Lionel Messi is the first player to be spotted with the next-generation Adidas Nemeziz 19 football boot.

Completely blacked-out, the boots worn by Messi are relatively easy to identify as the Nemeziz 19 as they feature the silo's trademark elements. Compared to the current generation ,they have a differently shaped collar and a more synthetic looking, thinner upper.
The sole plate of the Adidas Nemeziz 19 football boots is expected to quite different to the plate of the current Adidas Nemeziz boot, the Adidas Nemeziz 18. The outsole is not well visible on the pictures, however.
The new Adidas Nemeziz 19 soccer boots are set for a launch in late May 2019, in time for the UEFA Champions League final. The launch colorway will be red / silver-metallic.
