Sergio Busquets is usually wearing the Nike Phantom VSN football boots since Nike replaced the Nike Magista. The Nike Phantom Venom is Nike's new striker boot featuring a Total 90-inspired design, not intended to be worn by a defensive midfielder by Nike.

The reason for Sergio Busquets training in the Nike Phantom Venom might be that they are low-cut, in contrast to the mid-cut Nike Phantom VSN. Before Nike released the Phantom VSN, Busquets used the traditional low-cut synthetic Nike Magista.
