Brazil To Get New Logo
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) is reported to get a new visual identity and a design agency would have already started on the process. The first rumors about a new logo for the Brazil national team emerged in 2018.
Design Agency Already Working On New Visual Identity Of Brazil National Team
According to information from Brazilian kit website Mantos do Futebol, CBF is already in the process of creating a new logo, which will appear on the shirts of the Brazil national teams almost certainly.
In 2018, O Globo journalist Lauro Jardim "O Globo" reported that the CBF planned to change its logo and sought an agency to create this new visual identity.
MDF's unique information is that this agency is already working on this review, there are no further details on design or release forecast.
A big problem with today's logo is that the five stars for the 5 World Cups won by the Men's team are part of the official logo - the female kits feature five stars as well despite the Brazil Women's team having not won a World Cup yet.
The CBF already had many different logos in their history, with almost all of them having the same concept - they come with a unique special format of the coat of arms, the green cross on the blue background and the Cross Patates in white. The last new logo was released in 2002 after the 2002 World Cup triumph.
