Both Ivory Coast and Rwanda used their home kits, which are orange (Ivory Coast) and yellow (Rwanda). While it was relatively easy to distinguish the players from near, it was almost impossible to do so from the television match camera.
Rwanda's goalkeeper jersey was even orange, almost perfectly matching with Ivory Coast's home kit.
The teams did not change the kits until the final whistle. Ivory Coast won 3-0 and has now secured qualification for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
