Made From Recycled Plastic | Limited-Edition Kappa Betis 2019 Kit Released
Spanish club Real Betis Balompié has launched a limited-edition kit in collaboration with their kit supplier Kappa. It is made with recycled materials that come from the empty containers of Betis' stadium, the Benito Villamarín and set to be worn in the match against Valencia on April 21 2019.
Limited-Edition Checkered Kappa Betis 2019 Kit
The special-edition Kappa Betis kit boasts a checkered look in the club's traditional green and white colors. It is remarkably similar to FC Barcelona's all-new checkered kit of the 2019-2020 season.
The Real Betis Balompié special-edition kit is made from recycled plastic from the containers collected at the club's stadium over a period of weeks. Similar to Adidas' Parley kits, which are made form recycled ocean plastic, the treated plastic gives as a result a special fabric useful to make the shirt.
Priced at 78 Euro and limited to just 1,500 pieces, the special Kappa Betis 2019 kit will be sold in official stores and on the club's website on 9 April.
