Russian Club Launch Special-Edition Shirt for Lenin's Birthday
Russian club Volga Ulyanovsk have launched a special-edition shirt, produced by 2K Sport, to celebrate the 149th anniversary of the birth of Vladimir Lenin. Pictures via @RussoBCF.
Lenin, who led the Russian communist revolution in 1917 was born in Ulyanovsk on 22 April 1870.
The shirt is yellow with a fading black stripes pattern at the top and a large illustration of Lenin as a goalkeeper on the front.
The kit was worn in the game yesterday. A man disguised as Lenin performed a celebratory kick-off.
