Messi Ditches Next-Gen Adidas Nemeziz 19 In Halftime of Copa del Rey Final
FC Barcelona face Valencia CF in yesterday night's Spanish Copa del Rey final. If you closely followed the match and the boots worn by the players in particular, you might noticed that Messi was using two different boots in the first and second half.
Messi Switches Boots In Halftime of Copa del Rey Final
Lionel Messi entered the pitch in the first half wearing the brand-new Adidas Nemeziz 19.1 football boots, while he returned for the second half with the old-gen Adidas Nemeziz 18.1. It was a boot switch that came not by complete surprise.
In the last league match of the season, Lionel Messi already chose the Adidas Nemeziz 18.1 instead of the Adidas Nemeziz 19.1 soccer cleats. So it seems like that he is not happy with the next-generation Adidas Nemeziz 19.1 and at least one of its new features that include a brand-new two plate construction.
