PSG and Nike Sign Biggest Deal in Club History

Nike and PSG this morning announced that they've found an agreement to extend their long-running kit deal for the long-term, until 2032. Paris Saint-Germain and Nike have been linked since 30 years, making it the US brands longest-running football contract.

Although no financial details were announced, PSG stated that the new Nike agreement was the biggest sponsorship deal of its history. Reports earlier this year stated that PSG were looking to treble the current €25 million (per year) to €75m, which would put the whole package at almost €1 billion.

Nike will continue to outfit the club’s men and women’s teams, and building off of last season’s first-ever Jordan-branded third kit, the extension will also include additional collaborations with the Jordan Brand.

“Nike and PSG have been partners since 1989 and we are delighted to extend one of the longest and strongest partnerships we have in sport,” says Bert Hoyt, VP/GM of Nike EMEA. “We look forward to serving the men and women’s teams, and collaborating with PSG on more creative projects that will highlight our shared vision to create a lasting legacy in Paris and beyond.”

Paris Saint-Germain President, Nasser Al-Khelaifi says, “This partnership represents a very important milestone for the club and reflects the dreams and aspirations we have for the future of football. This partnership demonstrates Nike’s commitment to stay with us every step of the way for many years to come.”

The Nike PSG 19-20 home kit will be launched on July 1st.
