Special-Edition Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 'Shuai' Boots Released

Nike this morning unveiled the first Cristiano Ronaldo signature boots to be based on the new Nike Mercurial Superfly 7, named 'Shuai', which will be available from July 17th.

Shuai means 'handsome' in Chinese and is a fitting name for the boots that celebrate Cristiano's special relationship with China.

Nike Mercurial Superfly VII Elite CR7 'Shuai'

The new Nike Mercurial Superfly Cristiano Ronaldo Shuai football boots are bright blue with a pink Swoosh and an all-over Chinese script pattern in white. The Chinese text on the upper reads "Tong Shuai", which translates to "Stylish Commander".

It's an unusual and fresh look that celebrates Cristiano Ronaldo's link with China that was established through several trips to the country over the last few years.

Tech-wise, the new Mercurial Superfly VII Elite Cristiano Ronaldo Shuai boots from Nike are the same as the three colorways we've seen so far.

Unlike previous Nike Mercurial CR7 China boots, the Shuai Mercurial Superfly 7 cleats will be available to buy everywhere. They will drop in limited numbers on July 17th.

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to wear the boots when Juventus take on Inter Milan in a friendly in Nanjing, China, on July 24th.
