Kit news from the Ligue 1 as Toulouse launched their new 2019-20 home and away shirts today.

The new the Toulouse FC 2019-2020 home shirt features the traditional purple main color. The club's new home jersey is complemented by a touch of black on the sleeves, shoulders and neck. To understand the reasons for this unusual colour, which is not really usual for the TFC, we have to go back to the tragic death of Brice Taton 10 years ago. While the club was travelling to Belgrade for a European Cup match, Partizan Belgrade "supporters" literally attacked Toulouse supporters, including Brice Taton, who died of his injuries 12 days later.
Ten years after this tragedy, the club wanted to pay tribute to this supporter by writing his name on the back of the jersey and combining the black colour of mourning with the club's historical purple colour.
On the collar and sleeve edges, there is a red border that refers to the first colors in the club's history, such as the 2017-2018 season's outer jersey.
The shorts of the new TFC 2019-2020 home uniform are black, while the socks are purple.

Nike and the Football Association of Hong Kong, China have quietly revealed the new Hong Kong 2026 home shirt.
The Nike Hong Kong 2026 home jersey combines two shades of red in a subtle half-and-half design, with a centrally aligned chest layout. The circular HKFA crest is positioned right in the center of the chest, accompanied by a white Nike Swoosh directly beneath it.

Liverpool Could Use a Text-Only Turkish Airlines Sponsor?
Liverpool have announced that Turkish Airlines will become the club's new shirt sponsor from the 2027-28 season, ending the Reds' 17-year partnership with Standard Chartered.
While early fan concepts have used Turkish Airlines' familiar circular bird logo above the wordmark, a text-only sponsor could also be a realistic option.
The airline previously used a simplified two-line “TURKISH AIRLINES” wordmark on River Plate's shirts between 2019 and 2022, while Turkish clubs such as Galatasaray and Samsunspor have also used streamlined typographic versions of the branding.
A text-only layout could give Liverpool's future Adidas shirts a cleaner, less crowded look. The final sponsor application has yet to be confirmed, with the partnership set to begin in June 2027.
