Valladolid Announces Adidas Kit Deal

La Liga team Real Valladolid will wear Adidas kits next season. Leaving behind Hummel, the Spanish club today announced a new four-year kit deal with Adidas that will see the purple-whites sport the 3 Stripes until the end of the 22-23 season.

It's not the first time for Adidas and Valladolid to cooperate as the club already was sponsored by the three-stripe brand in the 1980s. Adidas was also present in 1984 when Valladolid won its only ever title, the League Cup.

No financial details of the deal were announced by the two parties.

Matthieu Fenaert, director of the Business Development Area of Real Valladolid CF, values the agreement: "Having such a prestigious brand as adidas on our side is a reason for great satisfaction and represents the beginning of a very exciting phase . From the first moments of negotiation we realized that we share the same values of professionalism, transparency and ambition. This new alliance is totally aligned with the strategy of global growth that the Club develops for the Real Valladolid brand. We are confident that this new stage will be very successful."

For his part, Luis Cano, director of Sports Marketing of adidas Iberia: "For adidas it is a great pride to be able to return to work next to a historic club like Real Valladolid. We are very excited and we hope that this journey will be full of success and great moments that we will live together".
