Nike Has The Most Best Teams - Three Brands Dominate 2019-20 La Liga Kit Battle

The 2019-2020 La Liga season is set to be dominated by the big brands, at least the race for the title. Let's take a detailed look at the battle of brands in the 19-20 La Liga Santander season.

Compared to previous season, the most interesting change might be the presence of Puma in La Liga. Puma replaced Nike as the official supplier of La Liga after more than 20 years, and the German brand also secured a deal with Valencia CF. For Puma, it is the first time since several years that they have a big presence in Spain.

The biggest clubs in La Liga are sponsored by Adidas, Nike and Puma. However, while the most important La Liga teams have been split between Adidas and Nike traditionally, the Swoosh has more of the better teams in the 2019-2020 La Liga season as Adidas lost Valencia to Puma.

In total, there have been four kit supplier changes: Valencia: Adidas → Puma , SD Eibar: Puma → Joma , Valladolid: Hummel → Adidas, Granada: Erreà → Nike.

Joma secured not less than four teams in their home market. Other suppliers in La Liga are Kelme and Macron with two teams as well as Hummel, New Balance, Kappa, Umbro and Puma with one club, respectively.
