2019-2020 Premier League Shirt Brands Battle

Manchester United clearly tops the list with 64 million GBP from their Chevrolet deal. Other English Premier League top clubs get almost all the same, around 20 million GBP less (Man City, Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool) [Please note that Tottenham just signed a new deal with AIA reportedly worth 40 million GBP / season until 2026.]

However, the main reason for Manchester United to get much more than the other clubs is not mainly because Chevrolet valued them much higher than other top clubs. In fact, the Man United Chevrolet deal was signed in US dollar - the weak British pound and the strong dollar mean that the deal is worth around 64 million GBP compared to 47 million GBP when it was signed.

Behind the Top 6, there is a huge gap of 30 million GBP. West Ham comes seventh with 10 million GBP, closely followed by Everton and Wolves. Sheffield, Norwich and Brighton come on the last three places with amounts not really comparable / notable to those of Man United...

All the shirt deals above do not include sleeves sponsors, which add another 50 million GBP in total (~ 10 million GBP for top clubs, high six, low seven-figures for others).

Do you think Manchester United would get such a deal again today? Let us know in the comments below.
