Outrageous - 'Limited-Edition' Umbro Blackburn Rovers 19-20 Kit Is Cheap, Old Teamwear
Yesterday, Umbro released the new Blackburn Rovers 2019-20 third jersey. Quickly after the release, it emerged that the 'limited-edition' jersey has been not designed especially for the club...
Mainly blue, Blackburn Rovers' 19-20 third shirt combines this base with a dark navy checker pattern on the left hand side. However, it is not a bespoke design but simply the Umbro Stadium Teamwear kit.
What makes this insane is that Blackburn Rovers' new 19-20 third football shirt retails at £50, whereas the teamwear shirt without the club's crest is available for £15.75.
In fact, the same kit design has been already used by Waterford FC from the League of Ireland two years ago, just with another bet sponsor and Waterford's logo.
Blackburn Rovers did not release a special news article for the kit - they surely had their reasons for that (i.e., they do not need to say what the kit is actually...)
