Back in the day, Blackburn, Liverpool, Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur (18% market share) were sponsored by McEwan's, Carlsberg, Shipstones and Holsten, respectively, while the betting sector crushed the kit sponsorship landscape in the 2019-20 Premier League season to sponsor 10 of the 20 teams. As a result, alcohol sponsors vanished on the front of Premier League teams.
