Man City, Newcastle & Other Team's Fans 'Robbed' By Puma With Insane Pricing For 2019-20 Products

This year, we twice already reported about football teams and their kit supplier selling cheap standard teamwear shirts with just added logos for a price that is anything but low. Now Newcastle United fan and Shirt collector Newcastle Shirts Match (@ShirtsMatch) made a nice overview of Newcastle United 2019-20 Puma products that are overpriced.

Puma Sells Standard Teamwear Products With Club Logos For Questionable Prices

Newcastle United, just as every professional team in the world of football, did not only receive new player kits but also a lot of other stuff. Only the home and away jerseys are unique, while all other stuff has been not designed for the club.

In example, Newcastle United's third kit is based on cheap teamwear with just different colors, while Newcastle's training is the same as standard teamwear just with the club's crest and the club's sponsor. The price difference between the standard teamwear and the official gear is as high as 50 GBP for the Puma 2019-20 keeper kits, in example.

Of course, Newcastle United and Puma are not the only in the world of football with this actually ridiculous practice. All other brands and teams are doing this, some more and some less.

Man City is also selling their 2019-20 keeper kit for much, much more than the teamwear, and Portsmouth and all others are doing the same.
