Having just won the 2019 Ballon d'Or, Megan Rapinoe was presented with a pair of bespoke Mercurial Vapor 13 boots by Nike.
Rapinoe won the trophy ahead of England's Lucy Bronze and her US team mate Alex Morgan.

Based on the Nike Mercurial Vapor XIII, the new Rapinoe boots draw inspiration from her signature hair color and the trophies she was won. Rapinoe's first and last name appear prominently on the lateral sides of the boot, with “Just Do It’ on the medial side. The heel counter and sockliner carry the four stars representing the four US Women's World Cup titles.
Unfortunately, the boots will not be retail and instead stay exclusive for the player.

Standing in sharp contrast, the Puma FC Midtjylland 26-27 away jersey utilizes a white base with thin grey stripes. The away shirt is accented with bold red and black contrasting details around the collar and sleeves. It carries over the same wolf icon and text detailing on the reverse, with both kits utilizing the club's bespoke attack-font for the player names and numbers.
