Overload Of Sponsors? Paris Saint-Germain 2019-20 "Coupe de la Ligue Kits"
If you have seen images of this week's French Coupe de la Ligue and the match between St. Reims and PSG, you might have wondered about the many jersey sponsors seen on the jerseys. Let us a take a closer look at jerseys worn in the French League Cup, the Coupe de la Ligue.
French Coupe de la Ligue Forces Teams To Wear Several Extra Jersey Sponsors
Due to regulations of the tournament and its sponsors, the jerseys in the Coupe de la Ligue do not look like usually. Instead, they come with several extra sponsors.
On the bottom right top is the logo of FIAT Tipo, a car, pn the bottom left top is the logo of PES, on the left sleeve is the logo of Triangle Intérim, a French family-owned company specialized in recruitment and HR solutions, while on the bottom below the numbers on the back is the branding of BKT, a tires company.
The logo of Canal Plus can be seen on the shorts, all in top of the usual PSG ALL sponsor.
All in all, it can be said that the kits worn in the France Coupe de la Ligue does not only look a bit overloaded.
Just as all other kits of the tournament, the PSG kit as worn in the Coupe de la Ligue is not available to buy in official stores.
In the French Coup de de France, the traditional French Cup tournament, teams are also not wearing their usual kits. Instead, they come with sponsors that replace the regular kit sponsors.
