Fernandinho Officially Joins Puma
Images from Man City's training suggest that Brazilian midfielder Fernandinho could join Puma, the club's kit maker.
On January 29, just around one week ago, Fernandinho extended his Man City contract until 2021. This is almost certainly related to the fact that he could join Puma, as it has been already the case with many other players who played for Puma teams and "consequently" changed boot suppliers.
Fernandinho usually laces up in the Nike Phantom VSN football boots. He has been sponsored by Nike since August 2015. Before that, he wore Adidas cleats.
Fernandinho Trains In Puma One Spark Pack Boots
On February 6 2020, Fernandinho trained in the brand-new yellow and black One soccer cleats from the Puma Spark Pack. This is usually a clear indicator that he has / is set to sign a boot deal with Puma.
However, just one day after he wore Puma boots in training, he switched back to the Nike Phantom VSN 2.
Fernandinho could debut the Puma boot in Sunday's Premier League match against West Ham United. We think that this is unlikely, however.
