Amazon To Become Flamengo Kit Sponsor

Brazilian club Flamengo, who won the 2019 COpa Libertadores, are close to sign a main sponsor agreement with Amazon, according to Globoesporte.com.

Flamengo To Sign Amazon Shirt Sponsor Deal

According to Globoesporte, the agreement with Amazon is very close. The negotiations were conducted by president Rodolfo Landim and the vice president of communication, Gustavo Oliveira.

The values of the possible Amazon Flamengo deal, however, were not revealed.

Currently, the bank BS2 is on the front of the Flamengo shirt. The bank invests about R$ 15 million per year (3.2 million USD), plus bonuses for opening accounts and team results in the field. They have a contract with Flamengo in force until the end of 2020, but there is a termination clause that allows the Club to break the agreement. BS2 could become the club's sleeve sponsor instead.
