No More Puma After 17 Years - Girondins Bordeaux To Announce Adidas Kit Deal
French club Girondins Bordeaux is set to announce a jersey deal with Adidas, it has been revealed by French media.
Girondins Bordeaux had been equipped by Puma since 2003.
Girondins Bordeaux Signs 5-Year Adidas Kit Deal
Adidas will commit to Girondins Bordeaux for five seasons starting in 2020 for around one million euros a year in addition to the prize money.
Bordeaux and Adidas have already collaborated, notably during the prolific 1980s (champions in 1984, 1985 and 1987) and then from 1999 to 2003, until the engagement with Puma, which lasted seventeen years.
Both parties have already signed the new contract.
The first modern FC Girondins Bordeaux kits are set to be launched in July 2020.
