Hasan Ismaik, majority shareholder of TSV 1860 München:
"My vision for TSV 1860 München is to bring the club back onto the big football stage by working with the best. The partnership with Nike, the global sporting goods brand with the greatest appeal in the industry, is an absolute added value for TSV 1860 München, especially because it is a long-term partnership. For many fans, the name Nike - in addition to its appeal - will bring back great memories. After all, the Lions made their unparalleled sporting rise to the European Cup in a Nike collection in the 1990s. I am very pleased that Nike is working with 11teamsports to outfit the entire Lions family".
Robert Reisinger, President TSV 1860 Munich:
"In cooperation with the KGaA, the e.V. and thus the entire Lion family has been able to win reliable partners for its amateur athletes and members with 11teamsports and Nike. We are convinced of the combination, as both are specialized in club sports and have a lot of experience as suppliers of various sports teams. The whole pride of lions is looking forward to the long-term partnership with great anticipation.
Marc-Nicolai Pfeifer, Commercial Director TSV 1860 Munich:
"I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Michael Scharold and Anthony Power together with the employees of 1860 who have successfully set the course for this important new partnership. Our marketer had laid the foundation for this with his initial contact. Having Nike, the market leader in the sports industry, as a partner certainly brings many new advantages and in the operative implementation with 11teamsports many creative approaches. All Lions can already look forward to the new jerseys - the away jersey is a tribute to the city of Munich and with the home jersey we dive into the tradition of 1860 Munich. Finally, I would also like to thank our long-standing partner Macron.
Anthony Power, Managing Director, TSV 1860 Merchandising GmbH:
"Nike not only offers us excellent equipment for our athletes, but also an interesting and high-quality product range for every Lion fan. Our new outfitter is one of the leading brands not only in sportswear but also in fashion. Nike will convince us all with its quality and designs. All fans can look forward to the new products, which will also be individually designed by 11teamsports."
Dennis Schröder, 11teamsports management:
"Already in the first talks with the club, Nike and us were clear that we want to do this. It's great that we found a way to continue Nike's cooperation with the unique traditional Munich club. Together with the Lions, we are looking forward to a successful future in terms of equipment - but we're also keeping our fingers crossed for sports! We've been working together with Nike for many years and we complement each other perfectly. This gives us the best prerequisites for providing TSV 1860 München, the club, the players and also the Lions fans with a high level of quality and ideas/added value in the future.
Marco Sautner, Managing Director Infront Germany:
"The supplier cooperation is one of the most important partnerships for a club. A lot of things have to be right, because in addition to the functional value, jerseys & co. create tangible identification moments for the fan. We are happy that 11teamsports was able to bring Nike back to the jersey of the lions and wish them good luck for the next five years".
The new Nike 1860 München kit and full collection will be available soon.
