Did You Notice? Mendy's Shirt "Rips" During Man City vs Real Madrid
If you paid close attention to last night's Champions League clash between Manchester City and Real Madrid, you might have noticed Ferland Mendy's shirt "ripping" during the first half.
In minute 38, the French left back had a duel with Raheem Sterling during which the Man City forward pulled his shirt. This small pull was enough for the shirt to rip at the front of the collar, which could also be observed when Mendy was shown up close a few minutes later.
Real Madrid wore the new pink 2020-21 away kit for the first time (and the last for time for a while).
It has to be said that it's not very unusual to see this type of collar rip at the front seam, but we found it interesting nonetheless.
It was also not quite up to previous "ripped shirt" news however.
Let's hear your thoughts in the comments below.
