Diário do Peixe: "Neymar Will Leave Nike"
As exclusively reported by Santos news platform "Diário do Peixe", Neymar will announce next week (September 1) that he will leave Nike.
Next Tuesday, Septmeber 1st, the PSG star will announce the termination of the contract with Nike
Neymar had been sponsored by Nike since the age of 13. In 2011, Neymar renewed the Nike agreement until 2022, this being the current contract that should be broken by the athlete.
Due to his arrival in French football, Paris Saint-Germain himself obtained an increase in his contract, given the strength of the player's image and his potential to sell shirts.
Recently, Neymar did not feature in global brand campaigns. In the video “Nothing can stop the sport”, released a month ago, Nike used the image of Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappé, without counting on the presence of the Brazilian.
