Next-Gen Adidas Copa Sense 'Superlative' Launch Boots Released

Adidas today officially launched the next-generation Adidas Copa Sense 2021 football boots. The boots have been already worn by the likes of Barcelona's Pedri and Juventus' Dybala in the past few weeks.

Adidas Copa Sense+ Launch Edition - Black / White / Footwear Gold

This picture shows the debut colorway of the 2021 Adidas Copa Sense+ cleats.

For the launch edition of the new Adidas Copa Sense cleats, Adidas opts for a look that is both classic yet luxurious. The new Adidas Copa Sense boots combine an all-black upper with a golden sole plate and white details.

The Three Stripes are black for a blackout upper. White brandings complete the look. The official color combo of the new 'Black / White / Footwear Gold' Adidas Copa Sense soccer cleats is "Black / White / Footwear Gold".

Tech-wise, the next-gen Copa are very, very different to the current generation, especially at first glance.

The new Adidas Copa Sense boots come with foam pods throughout the upper. Those in the rear are called Sensepods (made for a better and more comfy fit), while those in the touch areas are called Touchpods.

The new Adidas 2021 Copa football shoes also have a new "U-throat collar construction". As to say it with Adidas words, read the Three Stripes marketing text below.

The next-gen Adidas Copa Sense are made to fine-tune your instincts. Foam Sensepods inside the soft K-leather upper help lock in your heel. On the outside, Touchpods and soft TPU medial studs absorb contacts for cushioned touches and caressed passes.

Puma Kits Keep Ripping at the 2026 World Cup

Puma is facing significant criticism at the 2026 World Cup as multiple national team jerseys have easily ripped during matches.

Incidents involving players from Czechia, Morocco, Egypt, and Paraguay have highlighted an ongoing durability issue with the brand's latest kits - every torn shirt in the tournament so far belongs to a Puma-sponsored team.

The Puma 2026 World Cup kits incorporate the latest version of PUMA's ULTRAWEAVE “Thermoadapt” technology, which obviously is not tear-resistant enough.

The recurring wardrobe malfunctions have resulted in terrible PR for the German sportswear manufacturer and even prompted the viral resurgence of Xherdan Shaqiri's infamous quote from Euro 2016, where he joked that he hopes Puma does not produce condoms.
