"Terrific": Umbro England Rugby 150-Years Anniversary Kit Released

Umbro today revealed a special anniversary shirt for the England Rugby team. It does not only feature a very clean design but is also available in an additional 'classic' version.

The new England Umbro Rugby 150 years kit will be worn by the England senior men’s team during their opening Guinness Six Nations match against Scotland on Saturday 6 February. The Match will be played at Twickenham Stadium 150 years after the two sides met in the first ever international rugby Test match, at Raeburn Place, Edinburgh in 1871.

Inspired by the one worn a century and a half ago, the new England 150 years rugby kit has a traditional and clean design with England’s heritage rose and a gold embroidered 1871-2021 sign off. The only element disrupting the clean design is England Rugby’s Principal partner O2, whose blue logo was moved to the sleeve.

The new England Umbro rugby uniform is an one-off shirt - it will be only worn once.

Interestingly, Umbro not only offers a short and long sleeve replica and match versions but also a 'classic jersey' with a Polo collar. This has also already been the case for Umbro's first modern England Rugby shirt released last year.

The England Rugby replica kit retails at 85 Euro, while the player issue version is available for 120 Euro.
