Wolfsburg Kits to Feature ID.4 Sponsor vs Bayern Munich Today

Wolfsburg will use the big stage of their match against Bayern Munich today to promote Volkswagen's brand-new ID.4 all-electric compact SUV, which is currently being launched worldwide.

The ID.4 logo will appears on the front of the jerseys of both the men's and women's teams "over the coming weeks", starting with the Bundesliga top-of-the-table meeting between The Wolves and Bayern Munich.

The ID.4 will soon become a permanent part of VfL Wolfsburg’s fleet of vehicles, and a corresponding charging infrastructure has already been created at the training ground at the VfL-Center.

“Ecological sustainability is an important strategic approach for us,” said VfL managing director Michael Meeske. “With the diverse measures we have taken, we want to make our contribution and inspire the people around us to join us in creating a future worth living for everyone. E-mobility plays a central role in this. For this reason, we are currently converting our fleet to electric cars. In this regard, we are of course particularly grateful to have Volkswagen, one of the most innovative companies in this field, on our side, supporting us one hundred per cent along this path.”
