Adidas, Puma & Nike Fight Heavy Battle For France Euro 2020 Squad
As 2018 World Cup champions, France is one of the favorites to win the UEFA EURO 2020. We take a look at the soccer boots of the country's 26-men squad.
France have been placed in Group F along with heavyweights Portugal and Germany as well as underdogs Hungary.
Nike Narrowly Leads France Euro 2020 Boots Battle
As visible on Football Boots DB's new EURO 2020 Football Boots Overview, brands are heavily battling for supremacy in France's Euro 2020 squad.
Nike (still) leads the race with 10 players
Nike leads the race with 10 players, followed by Puma (8) and Adidas (7). No other brand is present in France's 26-men squad.
The latest France starting XI is dominated by Nike with six players, followed by Adidas (3 players) and Puma (2 players).
All this stands in stark contrast to the 2018 World Cup. Three years ago, Puma made the boots for just three players, while Nike had 56.5% (13 of 23) players under contract.
