Adidas to Launch 2006-Inspired Arsenal Shirt This Year
Adidas are set to launch a very interesting collection for Arsenal FC, featuring a colorway that's reminiscent of the iconic 2005-06 "Highbury Farewell" home kit.
Slated for launch in November or December of this year, the Adidas Arsenal 2021-22 Tango collection will include at least four items (jersey, woven jacket, crew sweat and crew tee) in a maroon / gold colorway. The official color to be used is "noble maroon" while the gold detailing will be metallic gold.
Part of Adidas' upcoming 2006-inspired drop, the jersey and jacket will be directly based on the "Teamgeist" template. The collection will explore "what could have been" had Adidas supplied Arsenal back in 2006.
