August 2021: Barcelona 21-22 Kit Available Without Sponsors
Some days ago, we reported that Barcelona has no shirt sponsor for the 2022-23 season yet. Now we have spotted the Nike FC Barcelona 2021-22 home kit for sale without any sponsor logos.
Nike Secretly Sells Barcelona 21-22 Kit Without Sponsors
The Nike FC Barcelona 2021-22 home kit without any sponsors has been secretly available on Nike.com for a few days. It does not show up when searching on Nike's website but we found it when searching via Google.
Nike did not communicate anything on the sponsorless Barcelona 21-22 kit.
We do not think that FC Barcelona will lose Rakuten as main sponsor during this season. What seems possible is that FC Barcelona will start selling its kits sponsor-free.
It is not known why Nike is selling the kit sponsor-free
Another reason for Nike selling a sponsorless version sounds simple - the Swoosh have left some Barcelona kits without sponsors that they want to get rid of.
The kit also comes without the UNICEF logo on the back.
The sponsorless Barcelona 2021-2022 home jersey is also available via German football store 11teamsports.
Price-wise, the Barcelona Nike 21-22 sponsorless kit retails at 90 Euro - the same price as the usual replica.

Premium Material Returns to the World Cup Champions Badge
Alongside the second star above the crest, Spain officially unveiled a new 3D embossed World Champions badge during their recent 3-2 victory over England in the UEFA Nations League. This badge previously appeared on Spain's jersey after their 2026 FIFA World Cup triumph.
Compared to the heat-applied plastic version seen on Argentina's kits, the new badge from Cromotransfer offers a significantly more premium look, featuring an embossed surface and a multi-layered structure. Before that, Adidas has increasingly shifted to pre-applying tournament and champions badges directly in its manufacturing facilities.
However, this upgrade will be exclusive to the authentic player-version jerseys. The fan-version replica shirts will continue to feature the standard heat-transferred plastic badge.
Big thanks to @whatthekit_x for the collage.
