Spotify to Become Barcelona Shirt Sponsor, Training Kit Sponsor and Stadium Naming Rights Holder
Update: New details about Barcelona's imminent sponsorship announcement with Spotify have emerged. Not only will Spotify sponsor the men's team's shirt but also that of the women's team, the training uniform and, maybe most surprisingly, the deal should also include the naming rights to the Camp Nou.
According tot he latest report by Radio Catalunya, the deal would run for three years and bring in €280 million, so around €93 million per season.
The only sponsor slots left to fill would be the sleeve and the back of the training kit, for which crypto firm Polkadot are still the main candidates.
Update: Barcelona and Spotify are set to announce their main sponsorship deal next week, most likely on Monday, February 7, 2022. This is reported by @albertfc11 from gol.
Update: Barça are set to close deals with two new sponsors for next season, according to @Shlugassi of @BarçaTimes. There are still a few items left to close with the sponsors but the agreement is almost complete.

Spotify will replace Rakuten as the main sponsor. During the last meeting between the parties, the owner of the music giant was very enthusiastic about Barça's social networks. A contract for 5 seasons during which the club is expected to receive about 340 million Euro (70 million Euro / season).
Polkadot will replace Beko and will be on the sleeve of Barça's shirt starting next season. A contract for 5 seasons during which the club is expected to receive about 100 million Euro (20 million Euro/season).
Update: Barcelona-based sports newspaper Sport report that Polkadot and Tencent are two more options to become Barcelona's shirt sponsor. Between fixed and variables, they could pay €75m per season.
Polkadot are a company linked to cryptocurrencies, while Tencent are the largest Chinese technology giant.

With the Rakuten deal set to finally expire at the end of the season, Barcelona are once again in search for a new main sponsor.
Despite various rumors over recent weeks and months, nothing seems to be concrete so far and the latest update we got today is that music streaming platform Spotify are allegedly interested.
As reported by Mundo Deportivo, who specialize in Barça news, Spotify are one of the companies that are "most keenly interested" among those contacted by the club's marketing department.
According to the same report, Rakuten are not interested in renewing their existing partnership with the club.
The report goes on to state that a potential deal would be worth between €30 and €60 million per year, a wide range but similar in value to the current Rakuten deal.
Most earlier rumors had hinted at crypto companies while also reporting about the club's doubts about the sector.
To summarize, everything still seems fairly vague and no official announcement should be expected for the near future.
