FC Barcelona on 1 September 2021 announced that Ansu Fati will get the famous No. 10 shirt. Already some time ago, radio channel RAC revealed what Barcelona can do with their remaining Messi equipment.

All the equipment that Barça have of Messi can be sold until September 30th. Afterward, the club is no longer authorized to sell items related to the Argentine. This was revealed by RAC 1, the main Catalan language private radio station and well-informed in all things Barça.
Of course, Barça will be also not allowed to produce new Messi-related gear as they do not have the right to do so anymore.
As visible on images of Barcelona's store, the club produced Messi 21-22 No. 10 kits without the Argentine having a contract with the Catalan club for the 2021-22 season at no time.
It remains to be seen what happens with Messi products not sold until September 30. The 21-22 home kit with the Messi 10 printing has been removed from the online store in the meantime.
