Bellingham Shows Off Next-Gen Adidas Predator Edge
BVB youngster Jude Bellingham was spotted wearing a pair of blackouts based on what appears to be the next-gen Adidas Predator Edge.
Set to replace the current-gen Predator Freak in January, we already leaked two colorways of the 2022 Predator Edge over the past few weeks, but today's pictures give us a much better idea of the exact specifics and upper structure.
The Adidas Predator Edge 2022 boots worn by Jude Bellingham feature a new 3-D finish to the upper, a detail that is highlighted through the use of color on one of the leaked colorways. As mentioned when we posted that version, the look distinctly reminds us of the 2012 Predator LZ, which featured five 'Lethal Zones' aimed at improving ball control and shooting.
Bellingham, who's usually wearing the Adidas Copa, seemingly opted for the low-cut Predator Edge.1. But even then, we expect the collar on the regular Edge.1 as well as the laceless Edge+ to be lower than on the current generation, following the issues that design has caused for players.
