Leaked: Dortmund Kits to Feature New Logo On Kit Collar

German Bundesliga team Borussia Dortmund will have a new slogan on their kits in the 2022-2023 season, we can leak.

The new 22-23 Borussia Dortmund kits will come with the logo of "Borussia Verbindet" (German for "Borussia connects") on the back of the collar.

Borussia Verbindet was launched in 2013. It is the club's campaign to actively counter anti-Semitism, racism, and forms of discrimination in the stadium and around the club. While "Borussia connects" was initially associated with an attempt to counter concrete incidents and developments, the campaign and the activities associated with it now form the basis for Borussia Dortmund's self-image both internally and externally.

In 2019, BVB released a special one-off sponsor kit with the logo of Borussia Verbindet and the text "Gemeinsam gegen Rassismus" (Together Against Racism).

It is not known if this will be a permanent feature of the club's kits or if it will be there for one season only.

BVB's kit did not feature a slogan in the last two seasons. Before, it featured the text BVB below the collar. In the early 2010s with Puma, it came with the club's slogan "Echte Liebe" (Real Love) inside the collar.

Dortmund's 2022-2023 home kit is set to be launched next week.
