It is often the sponsor that makes a shirt. How would some of the 2022-2023 kits look with iconic classic sponsors? Classic Football Shirts (@classicshirts) and Football Shirt Collective (@thefootballsc) have imagined it for 10 teams.
2022-2023 Jerseys With Vintage Sponsors
Many of the 2022-23 kits look much better with classic sponsors, especially those that are inspired by the past. For example, the JVC logo perfectly fits the 1990s-inspired Arsenal home shirt. Another shirt that is improved with a different sponsor is AS Roma's home kit, which just looks great with Italian company Barilla on the front.
Meanwhile, the Holsten logo does not fit the modern Spurs 22-23 home kit.
Barcelona possibly have the best sponsor in the 2022-2023 season
Meanwhile, some teams might have their best sponsor in history. The Barcelona x Spotify partnership is definitely hard to top.
We don't expect any of these classic sponsors to return in the near future, so all this will remain a dream.
