Red Star 125th Anniversary Kit to Be Launched Next Week - Designed by Phil Delves

Update: Red Star FC have announced that their much anticipated 125th Anniversary kit will finally be debuted in the Championnat National game against Nancy next Friday, November 25th, 2022. The jersey will be available to buy on the same day, with more details to be announced next week.

Football shirt influencer Phil Delves (@phildelves) created the winning design, which was announced back in June.

Speaking about his design winning, Phil Delves had the following to say: "Words cannot describe how excited I am right now! The competition experience was unforgettable, but to be so close now to seeing the shirt on the pitch is something I could never have dreamed of. It will be equally pleasing to see fans wearing this jersey and collectors around the world adding it to their collection. I am grateful to be able to play a small part in the history of this wonderful club!"

Red Star FC's new 125-years anniversary kit was unveiled yesterday. It is made by Kappa and will be worn during a unique match this fall.

Earlier this year, Red Star FC announced a competition open for everyone to design the club's new 125-years anniversary jersey. Submissions closed in early May 2022, and now the results are finally in.

This is the new Kappa Red Star 125-years anniversary football shirt for 2022-2023.

The Kappa Red Star FC 2022-23 125-years anniversary jersey comes with five green stripes on the front which represent the five Coupe de France titles the club has won, while they continue on the sleeves and back. Additionally, there are colourful smaller stripes in-between the white and green ones.

Overall, the Kappa Red Star Paris 2022-2023 125-years anniversary football shirt is inspired by the Art Nouveau movement during the 1890s when Red Star Paris was founded.

This means that a subtle leaf pattern graces the 4 white stripes. Kappa's logo features prominently on the right chest as well as on each sleeve in burgundy.
