AC Milan Debut Third Kit With Illegible Font
AC Milan debuted their new dark olive green third kit last night against Bologna with a black font for player names and numbers, making them almost illegible.

Player names and numbers need to be clearly visible in orders for referees to identify the players from a distance. Usually most leagues have to approve of the font colour to assure this is the case, so it's surprising that Milan were allowed to use a black font on a dark coloured kit. The brighter "Spring Moss" green outline also made the player names in particular even harder to decipher.
When images of the AC Milan 22-23 third kit were first leaked earlier in the summer, questions were raised over whether they would be able to use it following Serie A's ban on predominantly green kits which comes into force this season. The decision was made in order to avoid clashing with digital advertising boards around the pitch which can lead to visibility issues for tv broadcasts.
The Serie A bigwigs allowed it in the end as it was deemed not to create any problems and i Rossoneri beat Bologna 2-0 while wearing it, with Puma-sponsored striker - and therefore designated Milan kit launch frontman - Olivier Giroud putting away the second goal, another acrobatic volley to add to his already impressive collection.
