Puma to Sign Cameroon Kit Deal For 2022 World Cup Last Minute?
The Cameroonian national team will announce a new kit manufacturer very soon, according to reports from the country. Puma are reported to take over.
In early July 2022, the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) and their president Samuel Eto'o announced that they have decided to end their agreement with Le Coq Sportif. Le Coq Sportif said that the " the decision is unilateral and brutal".
Puma to Sign Cameroon Kit Deal
A dozen brands would have made a bid to become Cameroon's kit maker for the 2022 World Cup and beyond. Among them were "several Cameroonian companies". A shortlist of three files was then decided by the ad hoc committee.
Indeed, the secretary general of the Cameroon Football Federation (Fécafoot) said on August 3 2022 that the brand "will be communicated in the coming days".
With the 2022 World Cup beginning in November 2022, Cameroon's new equipment supplier will not have much time to present the Indomitable Lions kit for the World Cup. Puma have reportedly already started working on a Cameroonian design.
