Very Uninspired: 2022 World Cup Kit Sleeve Badges Revealed - Dark & Light Versions

Update: The official photo shoots for the 2022 World Cup give us the first official look at the 2022 FIFA World Cup sleeve badges.

For the first time, there is a light and a dark version. On the left sleeve, there is a badge to promote the new FIFA Football Unites the World campaign.

All in all, the new FIFA 2022 World Cup sleeve badges are anything but outstanding, especially compared to the sleeve badges of the Champions League. We would love to see FIFA design more special sleeve badges.

Qatar 2022 World Cup Sleeve Badge

The Qatar 2022 World Cup Sleeve Badges are anything but outstanding. On the right sleeve, there is the official 2022 World Cup logo. Placed on the left sleeve is a special badge for FIFA's Football Unites the World campaign.

It is particularly interesting that there are two versions of the sleeve badge for the 2022 World Cup - a light and a dark version. The white version is seen mainly on dark jerseys, the dark version on light jerseys.

The official sleeve badge is based on the Qatar 2022 World Cup logo. Interestingly the dark version is dark purple and not maroon like the official logo.
