Gold Adidas Predator Absolute 'Zidane' 2006 Remake Boots Released
Adidas this morning launched the remake of the iconic golden Predator Absolute boots worn by Zinedine Zidane at the 2006 World Cup. They are available to buy online and retail at €300 (£250) - and some sizes are still available depending on which country you are based in.
Adidas launch the boots shortly before the 2022 World Cup
The 'Gold' Adidas Predator Absolute boots from the 'ZZ' pack are launched shortly ahead before the 2022 World Cup. We don't think any player will wear these in Qatar but it would be a very nice surprise.
Adidas Predator Absolute 'Zidane' - Gold Metallic / Cloud White / Gold Metallic
This is the brand-new Adidas Predator Absolute remake boot based on the 2006 Zidane design.
The Adidas Predator Absolute Zidane 2006-2022 remake soccer cleats offer a faithful recreation of the original cleats from 16 years ago.
This is the second time in recent years that Adidas re-release the Predator Absolute, having already brought back the white, black and gold colorway in 2020.
The 2006 boots were not available to buy
Today's remake is the first chance of getting our hands on the Zidane boots since the 2006 were not available to buy.
Looking at tech, the gold Adidas Predator Absolute 'Zidane' boots are exactly the same as the original cleats for the upper, whereas the outsole is the same as the one used for the modern Adidas Predator Edge.
