Just a few hours ago, Japan were eliminated from the 2022 World Cup. They surely had one of the best kits in the 2022 World Cup. Italian football kit enthusiasts @football_nerds have come up with an incredible Japan concept kit idea.

This is the Adidas Japan x Belgium special concept shirt by Italian kit aficionados Football Nerds.

The Adidas Japan x Belgium 2022 World Cup special concept jersey creates a Japan kit from the Belgium 2022 World Cup home kit. It swaps the red for a saturated blue, while it keeps the flames in their original colors.

Even though it is technically the Belgium design, the concept evokes memories of the Japan 1998 World Cup kit. It also had a flame design on the sleeves.

1997 vs 2017

In 2017, Adidas brought the classic flames back for the Japan 2017 home kit. For us, the concept by Football Nerds looks better.
