Nike Liverpool x LeBron James Kit vs Shoes
Liverpool x LeBron Nike Air Max 1
A few months back, Nike released a pair of basketball shoes as the first footwear item of their Liverpool x LeBron collection. The upcoming second sneaker drop of the partnership should have a much broader appeal. Nike have applied appropriate colours and branding from both parties to one of their most popular silhouettes, the Air Max 1.
The upper consists of black and dark teal coloured leather panels as well as a good amount of white mesh. Bright red on the collar lining and the Air Max bubble in the sole add some contrast. A red Liverpool crest is printed on the black insole of the right foot, with LeBron's LJ logo on the left one.
The heel of each Liverpool x LeBron Nike Air Max 1 shoe also marks this pair out as part of the collaboration. YNWA (You'll Never Walk Alone) is embossed on the right heel and SFG (Strive For Greatness, a slogan used on Nike LeBron shoes in the past) is found on the left. The sole is coloured with two shades of teal but the very slightly off-white midsole keeps the shoe bright overall.
No release date has been announced for the Liverpool x LeBron James Nike Air Max 1 but it should become available in the next couple of weeks.

Ajax to Lose Ziggo as Main Shirt Sponsor
Dutch telecommunications company Ziggo has announced it will step down as the main shirt sponsor of Ajax following the conclusion of the 2026-27 season. This decision will bring an end to a long-standing partnership that first began in January 2015, marking a 12.5-year run on the front of the iconic Amsterdam kits.
VodafoneZiggo stated that the decision not to extend the current agreement stems from a strategic shift to focus on new brand initiatives and partnerships outside of football. The current deal, which is reportedly valued at around €10 million to €12 million per year, leaves a significant commercial spot to fill on the Ajax jersey.
Ajax is now actively searching for a replacement main sponsor to take over the front-of-shirt rights starting from the 2027-28 season. Fans will see the familiar Ziggo logo on the club's shirts for one final campaign before a new era begins for the Dutch giants.

South Korea Forced to Change Away Kit Font Color for 2026 World Cup
South Korea have been forced to change the nameset color on their 2026 away kit to comply with FIFA equipment regulations. The original light green names and numbers, which were worn during the team's pre-tournament friendlies, have been replaced with navy for the 2026 World Cup.
The change was made to increase the visibility of the names and numbers from a distance. The original light green color did not provide enough contrast against the light purple and white camouflage-style pattern of the Nike away shirt, violating FIFA's strict rules regarding the legibility of player identification.
The updated navy nameset was debuted in South Korea's second match of the tournament, providing a stark contrast to the shirt's base design and ensuring full compliance with FIFA's visibility standards.
