All-New Logo & Branding: La Liga Become La Liga EA Sports

The Spanish La Liga have undergone a significant transformation with a new name and a completely new look. Today, the league officially launched their new name and logo.

First División Called "LaLiga EA SPORTS", Second Division Called "LaLiga HYPERMOTION"

The Spanish La Liga league is now officially called LaLiga EA SPORTS, and the video game manufacturer will work with the Spanish association LFP until 2028, bringing in approximately 30 million euros annually and 150 million over the span of five years.

LaLiga New Broadcasting Design

The entire design of La Liga, including the logo, has been adapted, and the shirt numbers and player names have also been changed.

Additionally, the broadcast design has been updated, while still being based on the previous looks.

The Segunda División will also receive a makeover and will now compete as LaLiga HYPERMOTION (HYPERMOTION is a technology of EA SPORTS). Other changes include the rebranding of LaLiga Promises to LaLiga FCFutures, emphasizing the program's focus on youth development, and the renaming of eLaLiga to LaLiga FCPro. LaLiga Genuine, which promote inclusivity, will retain their name with the continued support of their official sponsor, the Bank Santander.

This shift signifies a new chapter in Spanish football, as highlighted by Javier Tebas, the president of LaLiga: "Today we embark on a revolutionary change for Spanish football and the industry as a whole. We are joined by clubs and strategic partners like EA SPORTS, without whom this would not have been possible. Together, we aim to offer better football for society and a better society for our football."

LaLiga 2023-2024 Logo

The new LaLiga logo ditches the iconic color wheel that has been there for 30 years. Instead, the new logo will feature a coral-red color. The coral color (officially Pantone Red 032C) symbolizes the passion, energy, and excitement of football.
