Banned in Champions League? Every Adidas Benfica 23-24 Third Kit is Different

Adidas have unveiled Benfica's Third Kit for the upcoming 23-24 season, and it is more interesting than it looks at first glance.

By using the same fabric without interruption, Adidas minimizes waste as there is practically no leftover. This also makes each piece unique and adds to the kit's appeal among fans.

However, it remains to be seen if UEFA will allow Benfica to wear the one-of-a-kind away kits. The official UEFA Equipment Regulations have no paragraph that directly forbids shirts that are different, but the possibility is high that we will see a different version in the Champions league if Benfica have to wear their third kit.

This is not the first time Adidas has used this design technique. The same approach was used for Belgium's away kit, which was banned by FIFA not because of the design, but because of the Tomorrowland reference.
