During a ball dispute with Dane Scarlett, he stepped on Tete's boot and his Copa Pure boots were ripped clean openand unusable.
Later, Tete signalled to the Fulham coaching staff to change his shoes, but they didn't seem to be prepared, so Tete had to run halfway to the dressing room to get a new one.
Unfortunately, while Tete went to the dressing room to get his shoes, Richalison scored the equaliser for Tottenham. Tete then walked onto the pitch and saw the Tottenham players celebrating the equaliser.
But in the end, it was Tete who scored the decisive penalty to give Fulham the win.
At the end of December, Cucurella also suffered a tear ripped open in his Puma Ultra Ultimate boot in a match against Bournemouth.
