Update: Like 50 years ago, Atlético wore red/blue/red against Celtic. According to reports, the change was also due to a clash with Celtic's white and green kit. Footy Headlines has received information that Atlético also have a navy makeshift kit, but they opted to wear red/blue/red as they did in the 1973-94 season.
Update: Atletico Madrid have revealed images of the special shirt to be worn vs Celtic. It is the same as the special kit from the 2021-22 season, just with a different sponsor and without the 75th-anniversary logo. By wearing red, Atlético pay homage to the red kit worn in the famous battle away against Celtic 50 years ago.
Atlético are set to don a special retro jersey when they face Celtic, reminiscent of the one worn in the 1974 European Cup semi-final.
In that historic match, known as 'The Battle of Glasgow,' Atleti battled against Celtic with only eight players remaining on the pitch at full-time, managing a 0-0 draw.
They intend to pay homage to this iconic moment by wearing a red shirt, blue pants, and red socks - the same attire from 1974. This gesture is a recognition of the players who participated in that match and the club's history.
"This Wednesday we meet again with a historic club in a mythical stadium, Celtic Park, where we will have the honor of reliving a duel that half a century later continues to remain in the memory of all Atlético players," says our president, Enrique Cerezo .
"For all the players who played in that match, and that great European Cup, it is a huge recognition that fifty seasons later, the team is wearing the same uniform again at Celtic Park. It fills us with pride now as it filled us with pride then, not only for defending Atlético de Madrid, but also because for people like Reina, Melo, Irureta, Gárate and myself, it was wearing the same colors that we defended with the Spanish team. That semi-final was very special, we had just won the League the previous season and we eliminated a European champion at a very good moment in our careers ," says Adelardo himself, who wore the captain's armband on those historic nights.

Brisbane Roar and Spanish brand Kelme have officially launched the club's new kit collection for the 26-27 A-Leagues campaign. The drop represents the manufacturer's first full league set for the Queensland side after signing a three-year technical partnership earlier this year, succeeding previous supplier Cikers.
The 26-27 home kit marks a return to the club's traditional orange and black combination. The jersey features a textured orange base, black trim along the collar and cuffs, and is completed with black shorts and orange socks. The away jersey provides a crisp contrast with an off-white base accented by maroon detailing and shorts, celebrating Queensland's traditional sporting colour. Across the jerseys, the men's team features new primary partner Focus Construct on the front, while the women's shirts display Ausenco.

The vibrant blue third kit revives Brisbane Roar's original 2005 logo above an embossed lion graphic sweeping across the bottom front, accented with orange details. The retro crest also takes center stage on the maroon goalkeeper shirt, which features an elegant polo collar framed by orange piping.

A brand new lifestyle collection from Real Madrid and Adidas have been leaked via online stores, giving a full look onto its purple Originals tracksuit.
The design of the jacket is identical to away anthem jacket range from the German brand this season, featuring a white horizontal band with a yellow/orange trim. Both logos are displayed in monochrome white, match with the shoulder three-stripes.
