UFL Reveal In-House Football Boots, Kits & Stadiums
- Game Details: UFL is a free-to-play football video game launching in 2023 (potentially delayed) featuring fantasy teams with some real player names but fake faces.
- In-House Designs: The game features its own unique designs for football boots, kits, stadiums, and gloves, with some boots having a high-quality aesthetic.
- Licenses & Partnerships: UFL has partnered with FIFPro, and secured licenses with some top players, as well as a number of European Clubs.
The upcoming football video game, United Football League (UFL), have given us a closer look at the football boots, balls, kits, stadiums, and gloves to be featured in the game.
UFL want to tackle EA Sports with a free-to-play football video game, which is (still) planned to be launched in 2023 (even though it seems likely that the launch date will be postponed). The game will mainly feature fantasy teams as it lacks licenses for most clubs and leagues.
At least, UFL have partnered with FIFPro, the worldwide representative organization for over 65,000 professional footballers, so we will see many real player names (but fake faces). Licensed clubs include Hashtag United (for whom they are also main sponsor), West Ham United, Sporting CP, Shakhtar Donetsk, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Monaco, Besiktas, Celtic, and Rangers.
UFL Football Boots, Kits & Stadiums
The UFL video game features a series of unique in-house football boots, kits, stadiums, and gloves. In contrast to the in-house football boots of Konami and EA Sports, UFL have put more effort into the designs - some of their boots look as good as the top products from Adidas and Nike.
It remains to be seen if the final UFL game will also have Adidas and Nike-licensed football boots. The UFL game has also secured licenses with some of the biggest superstars in football, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Firmino, and De Bruyne. In older teasers, the game showcased these players wearing the latest licensed Adidas and Nike boots.
Just as the boots, the in-house balls, stadiums, kits and goalkeeper gloves of the UFL game are all pretty impressive - even though the, of course, lack the brand logos people want to see.

Schlotterbeck Deliberately Wears His Football Socks the Wrong Way Round
Borussia Dortmund and Germany defender Nico Schlotterbeck has a very specific habit regarding his matchday attire. The centre-back deliberately wears his football socks the wrong way round - the back is on the front, and the front is on the back.
In 2025, the Borussia Dortmund & Germany center back once told SPORT1 that this was one of his unique habits.
