Update: We have wondered what the (likely fake) Borussia Dortmund 2023-24 special-edition kit could look on the field, as won by captain Macro Reus. We opted for a striking light yellow captain armband.

Dortmund 23-24 Special Kit - Probably a Fake Based on Concept
The Puma Borussia Dortmund 2023-24 special football shirt has an odd yet very simple look. It is all-grey with white logos.
The pictured shirt is definitely a counterfeit. The Puma logo is applied poorly and appears to not be aligned straight.
This does not mean that a shirt of the same design is not going to be released by Puma and Borussia Dortmund. Fakes are often based on real designs, although it's also common for fakes to be based on concept designs. At the moment, we have no definitive confirmation in either direction.
Indeed, the grey color of the Puma Dortmund 2023-2024 special shirt matches BVB's new visual identity.

Premium Material Returns to the World Cup Champions Badge
Alongside the second star above the crest, Spain officially unveiled a new 3D embossed World Champions badge during their recent 3-2 victory over England in the UEFA Nations League. This badge previously appeared on Spain's jersey after their 2026 FIFA World Cup triumph.
Compared to the heat-applied plastic version seen on Argentina's kits, the new badge from Cromotransfer offers a significantly more premium look, featuring an embossed surface and a multi-layered structure. Before that, Adidas has increasingly shifted to pre-applying tournament and champions badges directly in its manufacturing facilities.
However, this upgrade will be exclusive to the authentic player-version jerseys. The fan-version replica shirts will continue to feature the standard heat-transferred plastic badge.
