EFL & Puma Release First-Ever Rainbow Football
- Rainbow Ball Launch: The EFL and Puma have released the first rainbow match ball to celebrate LGBT History Month and promote inclusion.
- Usage Period: The rainbow ball will be used in all EFL matches from February 16-24.
- Charity Donation: Puma will donate £75 to the LGBTQ+ Fans for Diversity Fund for every goal scored with the rainbow ball.
The English Football League (EFL) and Puma have launched the first-ever rainbow match ball to celebrate LGBT History Month and promote inclusion in football.
Puma Orbita EFL 2024 Rainbow Football - To be Used From February 16-24
The Puma EFL rainbow football is based on the Orbita ball. As the name suggests, the Puma EFL 2024 Orbita soccer ball features the colors of the rainbow.
The Puma Orbita Rainbow football will be used by all 72 clubs in the Sky Bet Championship, League One, and League Two matches from February 16-24.
For every goal scored with the Rainbow ball, Puma will donate £75 to the LGBTQ+ Fans for Diversity Fund. With 86 matches to be played in that period, we expect donations to reach around £15000 (for example, 86 games x 2,5 goals/game x £75 would add up to £16,125).
The Puma EFL rainbow football will be available to buy from tomorrow, 15 February 2024.
